Публикация, посвященная положению детей в Азербайджане, включает следующие разделы: демографические показатели, образование и культура, медико-профилактическое обслуживание, социальная защита, заболеваемость и смертность, преступность, а также данные по экономическим районам и административно-территориальным единицам. Публикация в основном охватывает 1990-2024 годы.

В ежегодник также включены сведения о численности детей, рождаемости, смертности и естественном приросте, а также показатели по дошкольным учреждениям, общеобразовательным школам, заболеваемости детей по экономическим районам и административно-территориальным единицам страны.

Каждый раздел издания содержат методологические пояснения по приводимым показателям.
