книга призвана помочь заполнить этот пробел.
В издании рассматривается состояние молодежи, ее прошлое,
настоящее и возможности для развития представлений о будущем. Все
страны БРИКС вовлечены в процессы развития, и некоторые значительные
улучшения в жизни молодежи за последние десятилетия документированы.
Однако, в книге показывается, что эти достижения могут быть подорваны
нестабильностью, непродуманными решениями и внешними факторами в
этих странах. Периоды экономического роста, политического прогресса,
культурной открытости и последующих разворотов в каждом обществе
характеризуются по-разному. На будущее молодежи резко влияют недавние
преобразования экономических, политических и социальных реалий.
По мере появления новых возможностей и ослабления влияния традиций
на образ жизни молодежи и изменения их норм и ценностей молодежь
вступает в конфликт с доминирующими ожиданиями и властными структурами.
