ВИЧ инфекция остается одной из важнейших проблем здравоохранения
в Европе, с признаками увеличения выявления новых случаев ВИЧ во
многих европейских странах. Очередной полугодовой доклад, посвященный
ВИЧ/СПИДу в Европе, подготовлен ЕвроВИЧ (европейский Центр Эпидемиологического
Контроля ВИЧ и СПИДа). Он представляет информацию, обеспеченную
национальными координаторами для наблюдения ВИЧ/СПИД в Европейском
регионе Всемирной организации здравоохранения. В докладе представлены
данные на конец 2006 года по 53 странам европейского региона ВОЗ.
