European Population Conference 2001
HELSINKI (FINLAND) June 7-9, 2001
This international conference is organized by the European Association
for Population Studies (EAPS) in collaboration with Vaestoliitto,
the Family Federation of Finland, Statistics
Finland and the Finnish Demographic Society. The conference
aims at providing insights into the variations in European population
trends and patterns, the various contexts which do shape this variety,
and its consequences. A full range of population issues will be
covered by this general conference, and although its main focus
is on European population, the conference will also address global
population issues.
