  • Morbidity in Russia’s regions, 2024
    • From 2004 to 2024, primary incidence of all diseases increased in most regions of the Russian Federation.
    • In 72 of Russia’s 85 regions respiratory diseases accounted for 45% to 60% of primary incidence in 2024
    • Injuries, poisonings, and some other consequences of external causes accounted for 3% to 15% of primary incidence, while circulatory diseases accounted for 2% to 9%.
    • The number of patients with malignant neoplasms is increasing in almost all regions of the Russian Federation.
    • The incidence of some infectious and parasitic diseases decreased in almost all regions from 2004 to 2024.
